The role involves teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in ecology and conservation biology, supervising Honours and higher-degree research students, and building a productive, externally funded research program.Candidates with a research focus on monitoring the impacts ofanthropogenic change on biodiversity will be highly regarded.What you can bring to the rolePhD in a relevant discipline.Demonstrated research expertise in terrestrial animal ecology, with a focus on anthropogenic impacts on biodiversity.Evidence of teaching ability at the tertiary level.A track record of peer-reviewed publications and potential for securing competitive research funding.Demonstrated ability to supervise honours and postgraduate research students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Evidence of engagement and impact outside the University environment.Why JCU?JCU offers a culturally diverse working environment with opportunities for professional and personal growth.
