We value our educators and provide ongoing support to ensure you''re set up for success.We also offer a competitive pay rate with flexible work opportunities, giving you the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children, staff, and families across various childcare centres.You''ll also have the flexibility to pick up Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) shifts -including roles in both mainstream and Special Development Schools (SDS). While completely optional, it''s a great way to diversify your experience and take on extra work when it suits you!Key duties:Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activitiesImplement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning FrameworkFoster positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesEnsure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, at all timesMaintain accurate records of children''s development and learning experiences.Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkersSkills & Experience:Fully completed Diploma or Cert III in ECE (or ACECQA equivalent)A minimum of 1 years'' experience working in an Early Childhood SettingValid Working with Children Check (WWC)Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essentialDesired Skills & Experience:Passionate about early childhood education and careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiativeAbility to work effectively as part of any teamStrong understanding of EYLF, VEDYLF and Child Safety StandardsFlexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacityCommitment to ongoing professional developmentWhy work with Tradewind?Tradewind Australia is a specialist, education recruitment agency and is the preferred supplier of educator for many schools and Early Learning Centres across the greater Melbourne / Victoria region.
