Senior Investigator - Tow Truck Investigation Unit - Fair Trading OperationsGrade:Clerk Grade 7/8Salary range: $113,574 - $125,720 + superannuation and leave loading (pro rata)Employment Type: Ongoing, part-time, three days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) Location: Parramatta, office attendance required 2 days per week.About the teamThe successful applicant will be a member of a dynamic regulatory team that specifically focuses on the tow truck industry in New South Wales. The team works proactively with Police and other industry stakeholders by conducting joint targeted field operations, the investigation of complaints from consumers and by delivering essential industry related education programs. The team are also relied upon as subject matter and regulatory experts to respond to industry-based enquiries.Your responsibilities will includeConducting compliance activities under NSW legislation, including complex investigations and undertaking targeted operations to ensure and enhance compliance with relevant legislation.Conducting proactive and targeted compliance operations applying effective risk management strategies to ensure the achievement of compliance objectives.Preparing, presenting and reviewing evidence, reports and submissions to make appropriate recommendations in accordance with legislative requirements and regulations and delegated authorities.Presenting evidence before court and prepare reports, submissions and correspondence to make recommendations for appropriate enforcement action on compliance activities.To be successful in this role you will possess:Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or preparedness to undertake an identical or similar employee-sponsored program.Demonstrated extensive knowledge of formal conduct of investigations, evidence gathering and review process.Current NSW driver''s licence and ability and willingness to travel throughout the state at short notice when required.These will be key attributes to achieve successful business outcomes.What we need from youPlease submit your resume of no more than 5 pages, including a cover letter of no more than 2 pages, sharing your motivation for applying for the position and demonstrating your capability and relevant skills.Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $113,574 base plus superannuationClick Here to access the Role Description .
