McCosker are experts in the civil construction industry offering a diverse range of services to the mining, construction, building, gas and industrial sectors.McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our team in Cairns, Qld, working Monday to Friday.In this position you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the project, the project works, engaging with site leaders, the business and other key stakeholders to achieve the projects and business goals. This position performs a crucial role in coordinating all administrative aspects of the project.Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Cairns based roleMonday to Friday - 48 hoursThe Project Administration Department is responsible for:Purchase order and invoice processingDaily activity sheets (including timesheets)Establish, control and maintain effective records management and filingPrepare and manage correspondence, ensuring accuracy and effective written communication standardsData entry into systems and related documents (e.g., excel)Stock and inventory controlGeneral administration duties for the project teamOther relevant administration duties as may be required from time to time.About You:Minimum 3-5 years'' experience in administrationExperience in the construction industry (desirable)Advanced competency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent attention to detailPositive attitude with the ability to work as part of a teamExcellent time management, workload prioritisation, organisation and planning skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDriver LicenceConstruction Card (blue or white)Join the McCosker teamAt McCosker we are focused on developing our workforce, giving back to the community and safeguarding our natural environment.
