Supporting warehouse management systems will help ensure the business is prepared for the future.About You...This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager seeking a new challenge or a step up in their career.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Management, with a solid background in production or operations management within a complex, engineered-to-order, or customized manufacturing environment.You approach everything with a hands-on, detail-focused mindset, and excel as a leader in manufacturing, improving delivery performance, streamlining operations, and guiding cross-functional teams. You are known for coaching and mentoring staff, fostering accountability, and promoting continuous improvement, creating high-performing teams where employees enjoy working.Responsibilities include providing updates to the General Manager on manufacturing performance based on KPIs, reviewing financial data to improve profitability, managing budgets, and planning financial strategies.Ensuring robust quality control, supplier performance management, dispatch, logistics, and coordination with purchasing are essential. Proven experience with continuous improvement, OH&S, industrial relations, compliance, and change management is required.Experience with ISO9001 quality management systems and compliance is necessary. You will coordinate, monitor, and improve manufacturing operations to enhance customer satisfaction, measure and implement manufacturing and supply chain improvements, and apply lean and visual manufacturing techniques.Review production capacity, develop supply chain and procurement systems, and innovate production processes for new and existing products. Support ERP system development and collaborate with other departments on new projects and product costing.Present monthly business performance reports to the CEO and assist in marketing the manufacturing facility. You are a natural driver of change, engaging and supportive, promoting teamwork, and aligning on a shared vision.Provide coaching and training to build staff skills and confidence in manufacturing and supply departments.Qualifications: Completed qualifications in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent industry experience. More than five years managing factory or plant operations, with extensive experience in production, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. Demonstrated skills in improving efficiency and overseeing business operations.
