We seek experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Managers to support strategic tenders and transition into delivering large-scale water treatment projects, including desalination and conventional facilities. This role suits senior professionals with deep technical expertise and strategic insight, capable of shaping winning bids and leading operational excellence during project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesTender & Bid SupportLead the development of O&M strategies and technical content for major tenders in South Australia.Collaborate with bid teams to create client-focused solutions, integrating operational objectives into proposals.Conduct risk assessments, contribute to pricing strategies, and explore value engineering options.Prepare and present O&M cost estimates and lifecycle performance models.Participate in client workshops, translating operational insights into competitive advantages.Transition to Project DeliveryLead the transition from tender to delivery, ensuring continuity of O&M strategies and technical standards.Develop project documentation, including Management Plans, Commissioning protocols, ITPs, and O&M manuals.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to meet design and operational specifications.Manage vendor engagement, procurement, and client communications.Resolve project issues through strategic analysis and collaboration.Digital Engineering & Operational InnovationPromote digital engineering tools to improve planning and operational efficiency.Support site personnel in applying digital technologies for asset management and performance monitoring.Enhance collaboration and information sharing across project phases using digital tools.Required Skills & CompetenciesDegree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or related field.Extensive experience in water treatment and desalination project operations and design.Proven leadership in supporting tenders and transitioning to project delivery.Strong supervision skills in engineering development, including digital design environments.Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and stakeholder engagement.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.Spanish language skills are advantageous.ACCIONA has received Top Employer certifications in 2022-2025, reflecting our commitment to HR excellence.
