If youre driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, wed love to have you on the journey.About the roleWe are looking for a Gas Fitter to join Origins Customer Solutions team.Youll provide Gas Fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at Origin customer sites.Responsibilities:Complete new scheduled LPG installations in line with required codes and standardsTo actively participate in all residential, commercial and industrial installations in the areaProvide advice on LPG installations to customers and internal contactsDetermine the most appropriate way to complete an installationCompletion of required documents under the permit to work system (training supplied)Review existing installations to ensure they comply with current industry standardsand Origin codes and provide information or quote to bring up to the current standardsEnsure all work is completed in a safe manner, applying origins permit to work systemComplete records in accordance with statutory and company requirements for bulk tanks and cylindersPromote Originservices to and build relationships with customers to ensure best possible return for the businessProvide quotations for account managers for new or upgraded installations in line with required codes and standards - this also includes and not limited to Plumbing and Type B if you hold the relevant qualificationsReview existing installations to ensure they comply with current industry standardsand Origin codes and provide information or quote to bring up to the currants standardsIs This You?You are a trade qualified Gas Fitter, with G and/or I/P license & exposure to LPG or industrial gassesPrior domestic experience with exposure to performing B type servicing, breakdowns and installation of gas appliances.Plumbing/Draining and Electrical Licences are desirable, yet not essential.You place a high priority on searching for new ways to gain efficiency without sacrifice to the customer, service, and safety.Ability to travelWhile working unsupervised, your ability to deal with customers and resolve gas related issues and remain calm under pressure is essential.You possess a current Drivers Licence (MR or above Preferred), suitable for all vehicles driven.For more information, please contact Kelly Hansen - , quote Requisition ID 88377 or apply now.Origin - Where good change happensAt Origin, were powered by people who believe in creating change.We are committed to fostering a diverse, gender equitable workforce, where everyone is welcome, and all applications are evaluated on merit and potential.
