The role works closely with delivery contractors (PPP, Alliance and D&C) and key stakeholders (including Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Rail) to ensure delivery staging is logical, achievable within operational and customer constraints, and aligned with project priorities. With a significant pipeline of SEQ rail projects underway, the role also interfaces with other Transport and Main Roads rail projects to ensure CRR delivery is integrated and considers cumulative rail network impacts and requirements. This position reports to the Senior Possessions and Delivery Sequencing Manager and forms part of the Customer and Network Integration team.Key ResponsibilitiesChair multi-agency working groups to develop and endorse extended possession applications, monitor readiness, and support robust, timely decision-making.Support contractors in applying for extended possessions, including access justification aligned with construction requirements.Coordinate state agencies to identify opportunities for extended possessions during low-demand periods and develop possession regimes aligned to broader rail activities.Monitor changes or risks in construction schedules that may impact possession plans, and lead the development of mitigation and contingency strategies.Prepare governance materials (e.g., feasibility assessments, options analyses, readiness assurance documents) and present structured information at the Delivery Sequencing Steering Committee.Manage communication with stakeholders across disciplines regarding possession program changes, ensuring accurate, timely updates and risk escalations.Maintain key processes, tools, and documentation in line with project requirements and governance frameworks.Lead and manage the Delivery Sequencing team, setting KPIs, supporting professional development, and aligning team efforts with project priorities.About YouExperience in possession planning and/or works sequencing in complex, multi-agency public transport environmentsAbility to proactively identify risks, issues and opportunities and implement mitigation strategiesStrong stakeholder engagement skills, including leading and presenting at multi-agency forumsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to brief and report effectivelyHigh-level program management skills to coordinate inputs and delivery within governance frameworks and tight timelinesDemonstrated team leadership, setting expectations, supporting development and driving performanceWhy work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
