The company is 100% Australian owned and markets its products to the hardware, timber and building industries.We arelooking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced person to join ourteam as anAssistant Office Manager. The position is available on a full-time, permanent basis at our Cairnsbranch.All training will be provided by our Branch Manager. This role will include tasks within the office and you will be expected to liaise directly with our warehouse staff. The role will include, but is not limited to, the below duties:Processing customer orders in a timely fashionAssisting customers with their questions regarding our products and lead times etcMaintaining the efficient flow of information between the sales team and the warehouse to ensure the expectations of our customers are metProviding crucial support to the Branch Manager and sales team during periods of leave and/or busy periodsBeing a key point of contact for our management team, based in BrisbaneIt is also important that you are clear and concise in your communication and that you thrivein fast paced environments. We are a small team so you will need to be flexible and willing to complete any necessary tasks within an office and warehouse environment.The following criteria is necessary for you to be successful in this role:High level of accuracyProficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and ERP systemsPossess an ability to pick things up quicklyAbility to retain informationUnderstanding of safe work practicesWillingness to perform any task necessary to help drive the business operationsWe utilise thePRONTO-Xi software throughout our company, so any exposure to Pronto wouldbe an advantage.
