There is also opportunities for providing cover for planned leave periods.Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg has been caring for the people of Bundaberg and surrounds since 1946. Our 59-bed facility is dedicated to supporting our community to live happy and healthy lives. Complemented by our specialist clinical and nursing staff, delivering personalised healthcare for you that meets the highest standards.Undertake routine clinical practice within established clinical protocolsat Mater Bundaberg Physiotherapy DepartmentApply increasing clinical judgement to more complex cases under clinical practice supervisionProvide delegation, supervision, and support to less experienced health practitioners, allied health assistants, students, support staff and volunteers as appropriate.Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within professional and multidisciplinary teams as required.Identify, develop and participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve clinical services and patient outcomesActively participate in professional and multidisciplinary teams, and liaise with patients, their families/carers and external agenciesParticipate in continuing professional development activities to further develop clinical practice and expertiseAbout youYou will be a AHPRA registered Physiotherapist as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council. You will also meet the below criteria:Experience working in an acute hospital settingand across rehabilitation servicesA demonstrated ability to provide exceptional Physiotherapy clinical services commensurate with level, and to manage a varying caseload day to day, including provision of an appropriate clinical handover as requiredDemonstrated attributes of solutions focus, flexibility and resilienceDemonstrated clinical practice and application of clinical judgement in the provision of high quality, evidence based, patient centred careEffective communication skills and demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with professional and multi-disciplinary teams, patients and carers to achieve optimal outcomesMater is Queenslands largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
