About this roleThe OpportunityAs an Agitator Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering concrete to our customers. Operating specialised vehicles called agitators, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of concrete from our plants to construction sites. This role requires attention to safety, responsibility, and a commitment to excellent service.Start times typically vary between 5-6am, with occasional earlier starts, overtime, night shifts, or weekend finishes.When not driving, you will assist with production planning and site operations.Key responsibilities include :Safely operate agitator trucks for delivery.Follow delivery schedules for timely arrivals.Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting issues.Comply with traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.Provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.Maintain delivery records and paperwork.About YouThe ideal candidate will have :Valid and clean HR drivers license with a minimum of 6 months experience, preferably operating agitator trucks.Knowledge of road safety regulations.Physical ability to load/unload concrete.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety and responsible driving.Flexibility for variable hours, including weekends and holidays.You must hold valid Australian work rights with no employment restrictions.
