What To ExpectThe Tesla Remanufacturing team work to diagnose and repair Powerwall, Megapack, and Charging products, as well as provide feedback on real world product performance to our design and manufacturing teams, to ensure our products are always improving through each iteration.This role is primarily responsible for determining the root failures of complex electromechanical assemblies and repairing/remanufacturing those products to specification. This position reports directly to the Tonsley Workshop Manager.What You''ll DoPerform complex and precise electro-mechanical debug/repair/remanufacture of Tesla Energy productsMaintain inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to processesWork from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation and/or verbal and written instructionsWork with, and help develop specialized fixtures, test equipment, and proceduresCollect data; update and maintain electronic and written recordsStrong database proficiency as well as lean manufacturing and scrap reduction experienceComplete tasks within standard times, as directed by your supervisorMaintain a clean and orderly work areaManage personal workload and take responsibility for assigned tasksWhat You''ll BringCert III or IV in Electrotechnology requiredCurrent Electrical Licence requiredPrevious manufacturing experience in electronics field is advantageousWorking knowledge of battery technology preferredProficient with hand tools including precision measuring equipment, electrical test equipment, and computer databasesStrong aptitude to learn proprietary software packagesProficient at understanding manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawingsExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsProficient with computer tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and network solutions.Ability to foster a close working relationship with team members and managementMust be reliable, innovative, committed, a self-starter, and quality focusedStrong sense of urgency, punctuality and drive to succeedAbility to lift 20kg #J-18808-Ljbffr
