Leadership role within our Technology teamBe part of a growing technology community across the Wesfarmers GroupFlexible, supportive work environment with work from home optionsFull-time permanent role based in Perth CBDAbout the teamAt Corporate Office, our Technology team is responsible for providing an efficient, secure and stable IT infrastructure and also supports knowledge sharing and procurement opportunities across the Wesfarmers Group.What youll doReporting to the Technology Operations Manager, this role will:Lead our Service Desk team to deliver efficient and effective 1st and 2nd line support for our Corporate Office team membersMaintain a thorough understanding of our departments, their key drivers and actively seek out innovative IT solutions to business issuesManage the delivery of IT services, ensuring the smooth operation of corporate office infrastructure, end-user computing and collaboration toolsProactively identify opportunities to improve IT service delivery and other internal processesDevelop and motivate a high performing, outcome driven team ensuring mentoring, support and professional development for team membersEstablish, update and maintain IT procedures in accordance with ITILv4 standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors to ensure service level agreements are metAct as a trusted technology partner to our Corporate Office, including to provide high-level IT support to senior leadersWhat youll needSignificant experience in IT service management, preferably in a corporate environmentExperience in leading and developing high performing service desk teamsStrong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practicesAdvanced proficiency in service desk tools and ticketing systemsStrong people management and leadership skills to drive the team to achieve its objectivesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsExcellent diagnostic, trouble shooting and problem solving skillsAbility to prioritise and meet agreed deadlinesA results orientated, customer focused approach to your workFlexibility to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster as requiredTertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline (highly desirable)Nice to havesRelevant IT certifications or trainingAbout WesfarmersAs one of Australias largest listed companies, were proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
