This full-time position is a critical role reporting to the General Manager. For the right candidate this role offers a significant future within the organisation as a leader.This is a very interesting and dynamic role supported by a well-resourced business. Operating from modern facilities and supported by a late model and well-maintained fleet, this role is ready for the right candidate to take the business as far as you can take it.Would suit a range of candidates. However, if you have experience in the concrete industry, you are at an advantage.Responsibilities:Oversee the successful operation of the Concrete Business - taking control of the business unit and being responsible for the outcomesProvide agile leadership and direction to the Concrete Team which consists of 12+ AGI Drivers, Batch Manager, 2 Schedulers and Loader OperatorExtending and improving the relationship with existing customersDevelop new business opportunitiesResponsibility for all pricing and business performanceSupport the General Manager in the overall outcomes for the businessPeople retention focus to ensure quality and skills are maintainedQualities/Behaviours:Business acumen and the capacity to comprehend business impact of this roleAbility to demonstrate sound leadership behaviours and influence the team to provide outcomes.
