In undertaking these tasks the position is required to apply highly developed spatial skills and knowledge of diverse GIS datasets.As a subject matter expert for address and topographic data maintenance, the Spatial Scientist - Administrative is provides technical leadership and business domain knowledge to support the sourcing, processing and standardising authoritative addressing, transport and/or features of interest data to maintain and upgrade the Geocoded Urban and Rural Addressing System (GURAS) and/or Digital Topographic Database (DTDB). In undertaking these tasks the position is required to apply highly developed spatial skills and knowledge of diverse GIS datasets.As a subject matter expert for maintaining the currency of the Digital Cadastral Database, the Spatial Scientist - Cadastre provides technical leadership and business domain knowledge to support the processing of new Deposited and Strata Plans registered by NSW Land Registry Services, remediation of identified errors in the DCDB, maintenance of administrative boundaries held in the DCDB and identifying and implementing updates to the DCDB based on information published in the NSW Government Gazette.The ideal candidate will have:Substantial knowledge of the NSW cadastral and land titling systems and processesKnowledge of and demonstrated experience in spatial information managementStrong communication and customer relation skillsThe ability to be flexible and adaptable to both a changing environment as well as prioritiesThe ability to solve problems and collaborate with others toward a common visionDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of current information technologies employed in capturing and managing spatial information.Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at 113,574 base plus superannuationClick Here to access the Role Description .
