This is a full-time position as an integral member of the team rotating on both the morning and afternoon shifts across multiple 24hr production facilities.As part of the maintenance team, our Industrial Electricians are critically important in supporting the production crew through both preventive maintenance and breakdown support. As someone who has previous experience working as an Industrial Electrician in a high-volume manufacturing facility, we expect that you will hold the relevant trade qualifications and be able to demonstrate good communication, problem solving and diagnostic skills.We offer a friendly team environment, an attractive hourly rate and opportunities to grow your career. ResponsibilitiesEnsure commitment to safety, quality, and the environmentCarrying out electrical repairs on a range of fixed plant with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive / preventative maintenance.Work closely with the Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting issuesEffectively respond to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtimeMaintain PLCs and circuitryCarry out inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with site requirements.Perform major overhauls through various plant shutdowns.Focus on continuous improvement ideas.Provide direction to contractors and work groups as required.What you will need to succeedTrade qualified (Valid unrestricted electrical licence)Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environmentA high level of fault-finding experiencePLC diagnostic experienceBasic computer skillsA confident, self-motivated, energetic individualA team player with a high degree of trade flexibilityAbility to work, at times, autonomously and without direct supervision.Our BusinessAdbri Masonry is Australias leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products and architectural masonry solutions.
