To build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others.An integral part of our team at UnitingCare as a Senior Analyst - Patient Revenue & Hospital Costing, youll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.Your part in UnitingCare Hospitals team:Reporting to the General Manager Patient Revenue & Digital Health, the Senior Analyst - Patient Revenue & Hospital Costing is crucial to influencing the continual improvement of Uniting Care Healths (UCH) revenue performance and hospital costing.This role is responsible for informing UnitingCare hospitals about reporting and analytic solutions in relation to patient revenue, hospital costing and aligned areas of hospital performance, working collaboratively with a range of teams.This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive improved revenue strategy and to lead development of hospital costing analytics.Lead and inform the reporting and analytic solutions for the Patient Revenue and Digital Health team, in particular this relates to patient revenue and hospital costing, aligned areas of hospital performance.Develop revenue models to support health fund negotiationsDirect and lead the management of Power Performance Manager (PPM) internal costing processes and margin analysisDevelop data quality audits and reconciliations for all inputs in Costings systemsMaintain documentation of data sources, cost allocation rules, and revenue mappingsComplete ad hoc project work and outline clear and concise reports and insightsWhat makes a difference for us?Tertiary education in a related field (e.g. business, accounting, law, health administration) minimum 5 years experienceDemonstrated knowledge of case mix and health fund payment arrangements in the Australian Health sector.High level of analytical skills.Ability to interpret and analyse large complex data sources.Strong professional manner; focused commercial acumen and operational emphasis to deliver on time.Demonstrated knowledge of the broader health care sector as a subject matter expert with an understanding of the health sector.The ability to work within a values-based organization.
