Youll be working closely with our directors to visualise their ideas during two key phases - pitching and pre-production.This is a new kind of role for a new kind of creative perfect for someone with an experimental mindset who is fluent in Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo 3, or similar tools and excited about pushing visual storytelling into new territory.Who we areWe are a film production company that believes in adventure, working across advertising, entertainment, documentary, and new technology.What Youll DoCollaborate closely with Directors and the Creative Development team to shape concepts and bring them to lifeSpecialise in developing image and video assets for directors treatments, pitches, and visual research decksWhile being involved in all aspects of treatment research, layout and designDevelop pre-viz assets using video generation and 3d modellingCollaborate with creatives to explore mood, tone, lighting, composition, and cinematic styleLead the production of AI-generated videos and stills from concept to final renderMaster visual consistency across scenes and edits from characters to environmentsBlend AI visuals seamlessly with traditional VFX, CGI, and post-production workflowsSolve AI quirks such as temporal drift, and lighting variance with hacks (or scripts)What Youll BringHands-on experience with Runway, Midjourney, AnimateDiff, Kling, ControlNet, Flux, or similar Gen-AI platformsStrong skills in traditional editing tools: Premiere, After Effects/DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, etc.A deep understanding of Gen-AI tells and how to fix themA curious, iterative mindset you test, learn, and push tools to their creative edgeA great eye for cinematography, composition, and visual storytellingAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-moving, in-person creative teamAwareness of ethical and creative best practices in AI-generated contentFull legal right to work in AustraliaA sharp visual eye you can see the difference between cinema and stockAble to take on agency/client briefs and adapt quickly to shifting prioritiesKnowledge of or willingness to learn design platforms/software such as INDDNice to HavePython scripting for batch prompt generation or cleanup automationExperience fine-tuning models or curating datasets to lock in visual styleFamiliarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, or TouchDesignerBonus if youve worked on commercials, branded content, or music videosWhy Join Us?Were an award-winning team producing world-class commercials and entertainment at the cutting edge of creative technology.
