Operating from a modern office and hangar complex at Mackay Airport, our organisation also provides on-site and field-based drug and alcohol testing services.We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Officer to support our growing finance function. This position offers a rare opportunity to be involved in the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities across CQ Rescues three corporate entities, working closely with our Financial Accountant and Finance Manager.Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day financial operations and reporting across all entities Take ownership of key functions including Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations Process and maintain accurate financial data within our Netsuite ERP Support preparation of internal financial reports and other accounting requirements Provide backup support for finance team members as requiredAbout You: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (Bachelors degree preferred) Solid experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, ideally within a multi-entity environment Strong understanding of AP, bank reconciliations, and general accounting processes Experience using ERP systems (Netsuite experience is highly regarded) Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a dynamic teamWhat We Offer: Flexible part-time role (0.5 FTE with scope for additional hours as growth opportunities arise) Supportive and professional team environment Salary packaging benefits available as a not-for-profit employer Opportunity to contribute to a life-saving community organisationIf youre looking for meaningful work in a purpose-driven organisation and have the accounting skills to match, wed love to hear from you.
