You will be responsible for the effective operating, running and achievement of budget of their store through effective leadership and management of their team and developing an exceptional customer centric culture. Reporting to the Area Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that their team is inspired and empowered to deliver the achievement of sales, key performance indicators and customer service. The Trade Manager is aligned with our vision to ensure that each customers needs are met. in charge of leading a team to provide exceptional service to our customer and builder clients.The roleDriving the trade business, sales and profit margins, contributing to the overall running and success of the businessMeeting and exceeding all sales targets and KPIs of the businessOversee the complete operations of the inventory management, merchandising, stock ordering, and store presentationCreate fun and engaging ways to connect to the communityLead staff, providing Training and Development to develop your teamDevelop and maintain rosters, thinking on your feet to respond to changesComplete reviews and performance management processesIdeally you will have or bePrior experience or knowledge in the Building & Trade sectorA focus for safety and compliance with regulatory requirementsExperience working in a retail environment, preferably a store/assistant store manager roleA passion for the hardware and building productsExcellent Customer ServiceBenefits:This role will both challenge and reward you, allowing you to develop and hone your existing skills in trade and retail.
