As part of the graduate program, you will beable to apply your quantitative skills if you have a specific interest in learning about energy and carbon markets.What Youll DoWhen you join, you will gain knowledge across a range of activities:Undertaking economic analysis applying a range of economic methods across a broad range of industries and topicsGathering and analysing economic dataContributing the delivery of projects and learning the fundamentals of delivering consulting projectsOrganising client and stakeholder consultationAttending client and stakeholder meetingsPreparing drafts of sections of reports, presentations and other client deliverablesUndertaking research to support business development opportunitiesAssisting with the development of written proposalsMeeting other professionals and clients and expanding your professional networkAttending networking events representing FTI Consulting in front of clients and prospectsHow Youll GrowThis is a great opportunity for someone embarking on a career in economics. You will learn about the Australian energy sectors challenges and opportunities and develop the skillsneeded to support clients in navigating it.Qualifications & ExperienceA degree in economics, finance, public policy, or a related disciplineStrong foundations in analytical and quantitative methods used to solve economic/financial problemsGood communication skills (both verbal and written)Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to deadlines, changing deliverables, and evolvingtask prioritiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a multi-task environment with strong attention to detailin deadline-driven situationsThis role may require travel to clients and FTI officeApart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
