The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on building services mechanical plant; including heating and ventilation plant and equipment within a healthcare setting.Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of building services is essential, includingA working knowledge of pump and motor isolations and removalsAHU''s, Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat exchangersHot water heaters / calorifiers (De-scales, repairs)You will also be involved with completing PPM''s (planned preventative maintenance) and daily plant checks.You will be provided with a company van and fuel card as this is a mobile position where you will be working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team. This team are responsible for ensuring that jobs completed meet the desired quality and customer service standards. You will be responsible for keeping plant safe and running at all times.Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. This experience will ideally have been gained in an NHS hospital environment, though candidates with strong commercial experience will also be considered (ie experience gained in commercial offices, hotels, education etc).
