As a member of our team, youll have access to advanced technology, skilled co-workers, interesting projects, and the opportunity to expand your career.And most importantly, youll be making a real difference in veterans and their families lives.About the roleThe Compensation Advocate provides advice and assistance directly to our members, their families and the wider military community in relation to a range of claims and appeals matters with the Departments of Veterans Affairs as well as responsive immediate welfare support.You will also earn qualifications under the Advocacy Training and Development Program (ATDP), which will provide a clear career pathway as you progress.Key ResponsibilitiesKnown as Compensation Advocates, these roles support current and ex-serving Veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs claims process.Key responsibilities of the role include (though not limited to):Prepare and submit compensation claims under supervision.Work within legislative and policy guidelines to document claims from Veterans.Case Coordination - manage and update client files using record management systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy.Communicate with clients and their representatives to gather additional information and provide clients with a timely update on their claim.What else makes us great:Option to salary package up to $15,900 per year on living expenses, and claim further tax-saving benefits on topExtensive training/development opportunitiesFinancial support and study leave to undertake higher educational courses related to workBenefits Hub that includes lifestyle discounts from 100s of leading stores and services and more...About YouThis highly customer-focused role enables our clients to receive the best possible outcome for their compensation needs, and we do this with patience, kindness and empathy.Your demonstrated complex problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail and accuracy will make your application competitive.
