About The Company This terrific WA civil contracting business is growing and has considerable commercial land development and residential subdivision projects south-of-the-river in Perth from Piara Waters to Australind. Their specialist areas include earthworks, drainage, civils, underground utilities (fire/water/sewer), and retaining walls for land development projects. They are now looking for a high-calibre 2IC OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR to join their team in a roving capacity across their southern region projects. About The Role This is a permanent OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR position working 5 days/week, Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will act as 2IC to the business owner, planning your days and visiting project teams across several sites to provide guidance and motivate teams to promote productivity. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and allocating resources (plant, equipment, personnel), overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and fostering a safety culture. The role offers a superb base salary of CIRCA $170K + Super & work vehicle, with an IMMEDIATE START available! Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Requirements 5+ years OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR or Civil/Site Supervisor experience in WA civil sector, including earthworks, drainage, utilities, and road construction with Civil Contractors Proven success managing civil construction teams and utilizing plant and equipment to meet project milestones on land development and residential subdivisions Excellent safety record Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, lead teams, and motivate subcontractors Residing in Perths southern suburbs with rights to work in Australia Current WA C Class drivers license Benefits Salary CIRCA $170K + Super & Vehicle Perth-based, no FIFO required IMMEDIATE START available Company Culture This business promotes a team culture of excellence, enterprise, and continuous improvement.
