All our products are fresh, nutritious, unprocessed, and growneither on our own farms or those of our partner growers.We are currently seeking a SeniorPack Shed Supervisor to join our Costa Avocado team in Childers,Queensland.About the RoleThis role is responsible forthe successful operation and supervision of the avocado packing shed. Itfocuses on coordinating and overseeing safe and efficient packing operations inaccordance with quality standards, ensuring premium produce is delivered to ourcustomers.Key Responsibilities Include:Plan and supervisepacking staff to ensure maximum productivity, in collaboration with thePack Shed Manager.Assist in developing the production schedule and monitoringthe labour budget.Set up, operate, andmaintain packing line and associated equipment. This includestroubleshooting issues and liaising with technicians as required.Manage packed product,process fruit, and waste levels accurately and promptly, reporting weeklyor as required through Packout and QC reports.Monitor productgrading, MLS, and packing staff performance, making adjustments as neededto maximise productivity.Train and superviseline QCs in the use of relevant systems.Monitor and report onquality, food safety, and WHS requirements, driving continual improvement.Ensure staff trainingis up-to-date with current health, safety, quality, and environmentalprocedures.About YouTo succeed in this role, youwill bring:Proven experiencesupervising in a pack shed or similar environment.Strong planning,organisational, and leadership skills.A focus on achievinghigh-quality results and minimising rejections.Self-motivation and theability to take initiative.The ability to motivateand support team members to work efficiently.Willingness to behands-on and lead by example.Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.An ability to work wellwith people from diverse backgrounds.A team-orientedapproach with effective problem-solving skills.A solid understandingof Occupational Health and Safety requirements.What we offerA role working within a collaborativeenvironment with a team that has a high-performance mindset.Significant scope for growth andprofessional development within Costa.For more information about this roleor to have a confidential discussion please emailangeline.mulder@costagroup.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
