We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.We are seeking a motivated and detail orientated Management Accountant to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. This role is ideal for a junior accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career!Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesManagement and Financial InformationAid in the timely and accurate production of management reports including commentary for the various business units, analysis on sales, inventory, pricing and costing variations, material usageHelp with the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts including, but not limited to inventory and fixed assets across the GroupWorking with existing systems, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the current reporting and analysis that is being producedAssist with the completion of Operational/CapEx budget and assist the team as requiredDevelop and monitor budgets and forecastsRevenue GenerationInvestigate revenue-generating / cost-saving opportunities, and CapEx initiatives, analyze potential ROI and pursue/action where appropriateMonitor revenue/cost and margin targetsInnovationInvestigate new or more effective business processes and effective and efficient utilization of technology.Adherence to Legislation, Policies and ProceduresHelp to develop and maintain financial policy, standards and procedures documentationHelp develop and maintain standard work instructions for standard tasks within the finance departmentConduct and monitor reviews to ensure procedures and adhered toSkills & ExperienceExposure to MRP systemsExcellent time management and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHighly motivated, self-driven, energetic, results-driven, and goal-orientedAbility to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to learn and proceduralize various standards tasks performed by other members of the finance teamWeekly reportingReview and report on the monthly business activity including KPIsHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior always demonstratedCritical issues and business risks to be communicated on timeTertiary qualifications in appropriate fields e.g. Finance, Commerce, or BusinessCPA or CA Qualified or nearly qualifiedCurrent Australian Drivers'' LicenseWHY JOIN US?Competitive remuneration package with employee benefits such as discounts on banking, travel insurance, Health & Fitness, Home appliances, local retailers and moreOpportunity for career progression within our global organisationSafe and supportive work environment by providing an Employee Assistance ProgramOn site canteen, free parking, staff discounts, monthly staff BBQs and annual flu vaccination programThe Midfield Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
