The primary objective of the role is to ensure all QLD clients are satisfied with our after-sales support. This includes servicing, workshop bookings, warranty, and general advice inquiries to ensure optimum vehicle uptime. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining confidence in both brand and product; therefore, strategies need to be in place to ensure customers needs are met and attended to and staff are sufficiently trained. Also, ensuring that the Brisbane workshop operates productively, maintaining compliance with local laws, regulations, and safety standards.The role will answer to the Branch/ Operations Manager and is based in our QLD branch.Key Accountabilities Liaise with Sales to ensure timely, practical, and mutually agreed delivery dates are negotiated for Customers.Liaise with customers internally and externally with job progress, concerns, or queries.Check-in vehicles ensuring they are free from damage or defects.Assist in the Preparation for the PDIs and preparing of new vehicles based on Customer Specifications supplied by Sales.Coordinate 3rd party contractors.Conduct / coordinate warranty repairs in accordance with Factory procedures and requirementsStay current with government regulations pertaining to vehicles.Ensure workshop is kept tidy and presentable.Maintain contact with clients to obtain customer feedback regarding product/service quality.Assist clients in resolving issues and complaints concerning purchased products or services.Build and establish good work relationship with clients to facilitate increased patronage and revenue.Monitor contract details to notify clients of pending expiration and help process renewal.Supervise and coordinate the customer service operation of a team to ensure clients are tended appropriately in line with set customer service standards.Assist in the development and optimize support and service processes, tools, and systems.Oversee all post-sales services provided to clients to ensure customer satisfaction.Provide periodic reports to management on all after sales activities.Ensure compliance with all general and company policies when carrying out job duties.Assist in day-to-day mechanical duties as and when requiredSkills and experience Supervisory experience in Heavy Vehicle Workshop necessaryHVRAS (Heavy Vehicle Registration Assessment Scheme) Qualified desirable.VDI Australia is an equal opportunity Company that encourages and supports diversity and inclusion in all our workplaces.
