We are seeking an experiencedAbout This RoleBrunel is partnering with a Tier One mining business to support the construction of a major greenfield processing plant in the South West. We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator (Civil) to oversee critical bulk earthworks, road construction, and large-scale concrete operations for this landmark project.This 18-month civil construction program involves significant bulk earthworks, the placement of over 5,000m of concrete, construction of deep foundations, footings, pedestals, and complex suspended slab structures within a new process plant.Supervise and coordinate multiple civil contractors across a complex construction programAct as the key interface between Contractors, Engineering Service Providers (ESP), and internal project teamsEnsure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislationOversee QA/QC procedures, including ITP/ITR implementation and validationLead hazard and risk assessments and ensure safety compliance is maintained across siteEnsure all works are delivered in line with scope, technical specifications, project schedule and budgetMonitor and report on contractor progress, resolve on-site issues, and manage scope changesCoordinate permits, approvals, and access with relevant stakeholders including operational and maintenance teamsRequirements10+ years'' experience in construction or heavy industry, with 5+ years in a civil EPCM or client-side roleStrong leadership and team coordination capabilitiesIn-depth knowledge of bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, and concrete operationsExcellent understanding of QA/QC processes, safety legislation, and site complianceProven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and contractor deliverablesOutstanding communication and problem-solving skillsDue to the remote location of this role candidates SOR will have a distinct advantageYou must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this roleQualificationsTrade qualification or relevant technical background in Civil or Bulk EarthworksCertificate IV in Frontline Management (preferred)Completion of BSBWHS414 & BSBWHS411 (preferred)BenefitsWork for a Tier 1 mining businessSalary sacrificingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate discountsAbout Brunel:Brunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
