Job Description

This position is full time; however, part time arrangements may also be considered.In your application please specify if you are interested in Full Time or Part timeTeam Lead -yiriyirimbang provides supervisionand support case managers to ensure they provide case management for children and young people in line with the case manager position description.Ensure client record compliance through effective review and feedback mechanisms; preparation and review input to legal documentation, briefings and correspondence ensuring responses are accurate.Daily management of staff including involvement in staff training and conducting staff appraisals.Provide regular 1:1 supervision to Out of Home Care workersEnsure the agency meets all its responsibilities in relation to provision of OOHCAllocate cases to caseworkers and monitor the management of the casesMonitor and ensure all program targets are met.Ensure that data is recorded, collated and monitored for children and young people in OOHC as required by the OCG;Check all court reports and case plan reports for all cases before they are submitted to the courtParticipate in supervision and training.Remuneration: $51.00 to $53.31 per hour under the SCHADS AwardYou will be required to undertake and pass a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, pre-employment wellness check (including drug and alcohol screening) and obtain an NSW Working with Children Check.Job DescriptionMANDATORY POSITION REQUIREMENTSRelevant qualification (or working towards) in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field and/or experience providing support services to families and young children.Experience or demonstrated capability to lead and support team members in the out-of-home care sector.Demonstrated experience in working with Aboriginal communitiesAbility to demonstrate resilience and work in challenging and high-pressure environments.Strong written communication skills, including accuracy, record-keeping, and report writing abilities.Ability to effectively and cooperatively lead and develop a teamDemonstrated experience in Case Management principles.Mandatory Position Requirements:Possession of a current ''C'' Class Open Driver Licence valid in NSWCurrent NSW Working With Children CheckCurrent Criminal History CheckHow to ApplyYour application must include a cover letter and an up-to-date resume that details your capabilities and experience in relation to the above role.Closing Date: Wednesday 6th August 2025 11.59pmContact: Chloe Navin - People & Workforce Lead chloen@oams.net.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
