We have developed an inclusive, transparent and engaging culture that focuses on building a diverse workforce as a priority realizing that to attract the very best, we need to ensure our culture is ready to welcome people from all ages, genders and backgrounds.About the role:Arkeus is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to setup and manage our Manufacturing facilities and all related processes. Youll guide the Manufacturing process, Supply Management set up the right Quality assurance. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be a key member of the operation team and work closely with the C-Suite to support Arkeus'' ambitious growth.About you:An engineer with strong interest to set up manufacturing process and supply chain.Able communicator who can collaborates confidently with suppliers and cross-functional teams.Experienced professional with a passion for growing and empowering the manufacturing teams.Passion by technology and High-Tech Product, youll be proud to manufacturing high quality and high value products.Key responsibilities:Design and manage production cells for aerospace sensor products, ensuring efficient layouts and workflows.Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and quality improvements.Define and manage Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with local suppliers to support domestic sourcing, define stock and inventory.Source and maintain production equipment, including installation and preventive maintenance programs.Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of production staff while promoting a culture of safety and quality.Your experience and skills:Bachelors degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing / production engineering roleExperience with small-scale high value production lines.Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP/PLM systems, CAD).Experience in Defence or aerospace industry.Experience with electronics assembly, PCB manufacture and testingExperience in automating manufacturing processWhat we offer:We make incredible things you will be working in a company at the forefront of innovation in Australia.You will collaborate with experienced leaders, with backgrounds in aerospace, Defence and academic research and development and just as much passion and energy as you have.You will become a part of a close-knit, inclusive, and connected team, immersed in a dynamic startup culture.
