With oversight spanning planning, design, specification, stakeholder engagement, and project executionincluding both contract and project managementthe Roads Manager ensures infrastructure initiatives are delivered sustainably and in alignment with the long-term aspirations outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.This role commands three integral teams: the Civil Design Team, Civil Project Management Team, and Infrastructure Renewal Team, orchestrating their collective efforts to deliver high-impact public works. Through coordinated leadership and technical direction, the Roads Manager drives performance across project lifecycles, ensuring consistency, quality, and community-focused outcomes.A key focus of the role is to decouple design and construction phases from financial year constraints, enabling infrastructure programs to be forward-planned and seamlessly executed across budget cycles.
