Apply now Job no: 497286Work type: Full timeLocation: Perth CBD, Inner & Western SuburbsCategories: Property & ProjectsAbout the RoleThe Landscape Manager will ensure that all gardens and landscaped areas are well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and responsive to the needs of our residents and staff. You will oversee garden maintenance, lead landscaping projects, and support sustainability initiatives while working closely with service teams, contractors, and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate regular garden care including irrigation, pest management, fertilisation, and seasonal tasksRecommend updates to landscaping that improve environmental sustainability and cost-effectivenessManage gardening schedules across all Amana Living service locationsProvide professional advice on landscaping and conservation mattersReview and update approved plant selections for each site in consultation with stakeholdersConduct site visits to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvementProject ManagementOversee the planning and completion of landscaping projects across sitesSupervise and guide subcontracted landscaping teamsManage budgets, supplies, equipment, and timelines to ensure smooth deliveryEnsure all work complies with safety, regulatory, and environmental standardsEngage respectfully with residents, staff, contractors, and suppliersMonitor quality of work and address any concerns that arise during project deliveryPlanning and ReportingDevelop tailored landscaping plans based on site conditions and resident needsPrepare annual operational and capital gardening budgetsKeep up to date with industry practices and new ideas in horticulture and landscape designActively look for ways to enhance garden areas and create more inviting spacesSkills and Experience RequiredRelevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Management)Current National Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)At least 10 years experience in a similar roleProven experience managing both hardscape and softscape landscaping projectsStrong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and project administrationAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamClear and respectful verbal and written communicationStrong time management and problem-solving abilitiesCurrent National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)NDIS Screening CheckCurrent influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in line with Amana Living policiesValid Western Australian C Class Drivers LicenseSuccessful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checksWhy Choose Amana Living?Amana Living is one of the largest Aged Care providers in Western Australia and has been responding to the needs of older people and those who care for them since 1962.
