Their diverse service offering has enabled them to penetrate multiple sectors such as mining, construction, agriculture and transport with the aim of satisfying current requirements whilst committing to a greener, more sustainable future.Job DescriptionThe initial focus of the role will be centred on developing internal relationships with relevant stakeholders such as Branch Managers, GM''s etc, and ensuring stronger compliance to current processes, this will encompass the following:Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, reduce vendor pool, ensure supplier quality and compliance, and integrate ESG criteria into selection processes.Drive cost-saving initiatives through the standardisation of equipment and common purchases, securing rebates and payment terms, and fostering long-term savings through effective spend management.Oversee logistics, inventory optimisation, and supplier risk, while enhancing responsiveness and resilience through data analytics and market-driven strategies.Leverage ERP and e-sourcing tools, maintain procurement policy compliance, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver procurement systems that support operational and customer objectives.The Successful ApplicantThe successful individual will demonstrate the following:Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position, with demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders of varying levels.Previous experience supporting the development and integration of an entire supply chain function.The ability to analyse data and develop actionable strategies that contribute to efficiencies or commercial outcomes.What''s on OfferThe role presents a unique opportunity to shape and expand the supply chain and procurement function, with potential for leadership growth through the eventual development of a new dedicated team.
