We take great care to provide safe, and competitive seaport services to efficiently facilitate imports and exports through our Queensland ports.Reporting to the Port Operations Manager, the Team Leader Operations and Security position plays a key role in coordinating and providing leadership to a team of Operations and Security Officers working a 24/7 shift roster. This role is to ensure safe and efficient port operations and service delivery to all NQBP ports, whilst acting as a positive role model in alignment with NQBP core values and respectful behaviours.To be successful in this role, you will need: To hold a current Class C drivers licence and the ability to hold and maintain a MSIC card, VHF radio licence and a Queensland security providers licence Certificate IV Trainer and Assessor Nationally recognised vocational education and training (VET) qualification in Leadership, Management or related discipline. Alternatively, leadership experience and the ability to complete a nationally recognised VET qualification in Leadership and Management Good communication skills and stakeholder management experience Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills A good understanding of Security operations in a transport or maritime environment Working knowledge of the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act and Regulations 2003Benefits of working for NQBP Flexible ways of working - we''re committed to developing working practices that support flexibility in terms of where, when and how we work: flexible teams and working options; cultural, community and study leave.
