We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse for Cancer Services to join the dedicated team at Western Australian Country Health Service in the vibrant community of Kalgoorlie. This role is pivotal in managing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy. As a Clinical Nurse, you will utilise your advanced nursing skills and knowledge to lead and support both patients and colleagues effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain national competence for Registered Nurses as per the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards.Provide expert clinical advice and operational management on a shift basis to ensure exceptional health care delivery within the unit.Lead multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaborative practice for improved patient outcomes.Identify and address patient education needs, coordinating programs to enhance understanding of their treatment.Actively participate in the development and implementation of improvement and research initiatives to advance hospital services.Ideal CandidateEligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Proven experience in advanced practice within the relevant clinical setting.Strong leadership capabilities in team dynamics and decision-making.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to high standards of care.Ability to integrate quality and risk management into daily practice.Knowledge of contemporary health issues, particularly in rural settings, is an advantage.Progress towards, or possession of, a relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable.If you are passionate about providing exceptional cancer services and ready to take on this rewarding role, we would love to hear from you!To learn more about the role, please refer to the attached Job Description Form and contact Shanae Elliott on 08 9080 5786.This position is located at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
