Embark on a Journey of Innovation and ExcellenceJacobs is on the lookout for Associate Water Engineers to join our thriving ANZ Water Infrastructure sector based in Sydney or Newcastle. This is a fulltime role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.You will provide mentorship and support to junior and Global Integrated Delivery team members, whilst taking on client-facing responsibilities, nurturing key relationships and maximising work-winning activities to expand our client and project portfolios. #JacobsWaterANZWhat Youll DoDeliver engineering solutions with outstanding technical and commercial results across the water sector including storage, conveyance, treatment (water and wastewater) and emerging technologies.Actively mentor junior team members and manage workload distribution within tasks.Foster client relationships and technical leadership.Your ExpertiseProficient in water and/or wastewater treatment and/or conveyance infrastructure, from planning to commissioningAround 10 years experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, with the ability to work with and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, including those with some members located throughout Australia or internationally.Extensive knowledge of safety in design and relevant industry codes and standards relevant to the Australian water industryDemonstrated experience on multi-disciplinary projects, including participation in and facilitation of standard design meetings and workshops (progress design meetings, safety in design meetings and workshops etc).Ability to drive team excellence and delivery of quality solutions that meet client expectations.Technical specialist within cross-disciplinary knowledge and application.Mentors and guides junior team members in their own technical development.Foster strong cross-disciplinary relationships within Jacobs and our partners.Uphold Jacobs internal processes, including periodic reporting on project progress, financials, quality etc to keep the business well informed of progression and risks.Your Client FocusImplement Jacobs Client Centric Strategy to cultivate client relationships.Exemplify strong service delivery and engages with our ongoing pursuit of work through and ensuring high-quality service.Contribute to successful project delivery and coordinates resources to address relevant project challenges.An uncompromising approach to safety and welfare.Promote Jacobs Beyond Zero culture of caring.We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.
