Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from Civeo AustraliaRecruitment Operations | People Strategy | Talent | Transformation | TA all dayPosition OverviewThe prime purpose of this role is to provide a service for Civeo businesses and assist in facilitating the management, co-ordination and control of the Health Safety Quality Environment (HSQE) obligations and maintain compliance with the respective state legislation, accreditations and standards.The role includes the maintaining of HSQE systems and data recording, while assisting the Sites with compliance to Civeo Safety Management System (Integrated Management System IMS) and further developing a positive people-based safety culture.The role requires strong support to and from the GM HSQE and Team, organisational assistance to all the Business Units, regularly liaising with all levels of management within Civeo and ensuring that the HSQE team are aware of HSQE issues within the business.The role also requires assisting the Workplace Rehabilitation Manager with initial control of workers compensation and return to work (RTW) programs, assisting with Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety and environmental committees.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes on-site in our remote Accommodation VillagesSupport Operations: Collaborate with Operations Managers in conducting safe operations and implementing the safety management systemDevelop Campaigns: Drive HSQE campaigns and injury prevention initiatives targeting key risk areasClient Collaboration: Partner with Operations Managers to address client needs and expectationsSafety Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor safety plans, ensuring timely and accurate reportingRisk Management: Conduct risk management processes to aid effective decision-making and safe operationsIncident Investigations: Facilitate accident/incident investigations and maintain records and statisticsQualifications:Diploma or Certificate IV in Occupational Safety & HealthAdditional qualifications in Risk Management, Psychosocial Risk Management, Auditing, Training & Assessment, and Food Safety are desirableUnrestricted Australian Driver''s licenceSenior First Aid certificationExperience:Significant experience in a similar roleIn-depth understanding of WHS legislationIdeally some experience with ISO standards Quality 9001, Safety 45001, Environment 14001Expertise in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.Skills:Excellent communication and collaborationAdvanced computer, numeracy, and literacy skillsIdeally you will possess experience in Quality ISO standards and environmental standardsSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagement and Strategy/PlanningIndustriesFacilities Services, Oil, Gas, and Mining, and HospitalityReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Civeo Australia by 2xGet notified about new Environment, Health and Safety Manager jobs in Dysart, Queensland, Australia.Were unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
