Experience the rewards of making a difference in older people''s lives by showing compassion and providing high quality safe care.The OpportunityThe Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking and experienced and motivated Clinical Care Coordinator to join our team at the Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility in Footscray.The Clinical Care Coordinator will provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with the Facility Manager and the care team, residents, and families to oversee and guide effective resident focused clinical outcomes.Key Responsibilities IncludeUndertake, or supervise others to undertake, clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behaviour management, end of-life care and other clinical procedures as may be necessary.Liaise with relevant Residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high level clinical care.BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumBetter work-life balance with consistent fortnightly rosters patterns for permanent positions - no rotating rosters!Career development, mentoring and leadership opportunities availableConfidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramOngoing training and support, we care about your personal and professional developmentEmployee Referral Program - refer a friend and be rewarded.Free onsite parkingQualifications, Knowledge And Experience Required For The RoleCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residentsKnowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plansVietnamese or Chinese speaking desired but not required.Other RequirementsIt is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.Why work for Royal Freemasons?We are an established and highly regarded Not-for-Profit provider of Aged Care Services across the Residential, Home Care and Retirement Living sectors.
