We have full-time positions for Fruit Farm Workers available in Mena Creek, QLD 4871.SKILLSTo perform the role of Fruit Farm Worker you require at least 1-year relevant job experience.RESPONSIBILITIESYour role as a Fruit Farm Worker is to perform routine tasks as directed at assisting with banana & papaya farming.POSITION DUTIESYou will need to undertake the following duties:Receiving and accepting tasks to be performed.Participating in any training required to perform tasks.Completing any prestart machinery checklists.Operating farm equipment and machinery to complete tasks.Servicing farm machinery and performing minor repairsDe suckering, de leafing and stringing bananas.Pruning banana bunch to the correct number of hands.Bagging banana bunch and ensuring secured correctly and covering bunch.Grafting and planting papaya seedlings.Maintaining papaya plants by duties such as desexing and pruning.Transporting harvested produce across the farm.Maintenance and repair of irrigation lines and sprinklers.Using appropriate personal protective equipment for handling and mixing chemicals.Washing, cleaning and sterilising equipment and machinery.Additional duties as required by the business.SALARYThe salary offered is $60,000 - $75,000 negotiated based on experience.TO APPLYApplications in Word format should be forwarded to us by clicking the Apply button below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
