Join to apply for the National Account Manager- Coles role at Opella1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the National Account Manager- Coles role at OpellaLocation: Virginia, Brisbane OR Macquarie Park, SydneyHybrid Work EnvironmentOpella is the self-care challenger with the purest and third-largest portfolio in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) & Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements (VMS) market globally.Our mission: to bring health in peoples hands by making self-care as simple as it should be for over half a billion consumers worldwide.At the core of this mission is our 100+ loved brands, our 11,000-strong global team, our 13 best-in-class manufacturing sites and four specialized science and innovation development centers.Headquartered in France, Opella is the proud maker of many of the worlds most loved brands, including Allegra, Buscopan, Doliprane, Dulcolax, Enterogermina, Essentiale and Mucosolvan.B Corp certified in multiple markets, we are active players in the journey towards healthier people and planet.Find out more about our mission to bring health in your hands at www.opella.com.About The JobThe National Account Manager- Coles will be responsible for the performance of the Coles Business by ensuring the achievement of set sales budgets, with execution of agreed account standards while maintaining tight control of trade promotional expenditure and operational expenses.The position works in conjunction with the Sales Leadership Team, 3rd party field force, the Marketing Department, and the Commercial Team, in order to build strategic account plans whilst driving the day-to-day business within all relevant accounts.Main ResponsibilitiesSole Accountability of the Medicinal category in ColesDeal directly with the Coles promo buyer on VitaminsAchievement of sales budgets (as nominated), plus provide ongoing sales forecastsAccountable for the volume and revenue forecast accuracy including sales and distribution of the entire Opella portfolio for ColesEnsure all Trade Promotional Expenditure (TPE) and operational expenses stay within approved budget and contracts are ALL up to date and compliantBuild effective execution plans that align to the business agreed account standards including distribution, primary shelf standards and secondary display standards in line with commercial calendar prioritiesDevelop and implement a total CHC portfolio strategic plan for relevant accounts. Provide clear direction to the sales team, and ALL internal stakeholders to ensure full alignment of activityDevelop and maintain relationships at ALL levels in both external and internal organisations to enable the strategy to be effectively executedProvide an environment of excellence in managing the accounts and build a culture of accountabilityComply with legal and ethical standards and company policies and procedures.About YouQualifications:Degree qualified in Business/ Commerce/ Marketing or other relevant field an advantageExperienceIdeally minimum 3 x years experience in a Key Account/ Account Management role within the FMCG Industry (Grocery channel a bonus)Proven examples of building and fostering exceptional client relationshipsStrong track record of meeting and exceeding business sales targetsSoft & Technical SkillsStrong Commercial acumen and strategic mindsetHigh level communication skills- written and verbalAbility to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels- both internally and externallyExtremely agile, ambitious and willingness to learn and develop your skillsBackground in relationship building and cross-functional partnerships to deliver business outcomesMulti-tasking skills and ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environmentWhy us?At Opella, you will enjoy doing challenging, purposeful work, empowered to develop consumer brands with passion and creativity.
