You will have broad technical skills of developing strategic models to support a wide range of use cases for analytics, business intelligence, self-service, machine learning models and other data driven projects.This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.Key responsibilities:Typical activities may include creating standardised logical and physical data models, using best practices, to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming and storing dataCollaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutionsEstablish and advise on processes that support the application of appropriate modelling including designing and documenting mappings, ensuring all new development conforms to the agreed data model design, and assisting in enabling self-serviceWork closely with the business and BI analysts to surface enriched enterprise-level views enabling data driven decisions.Demonstrates a focus on continual self improvement, across both the technical and business aspects of delivering high quality data enrichment solutionsProvide support to data quality and data validation through analysis of data and assisting in understanding the meaning of dataHelp drive continuous improvements to data quality procedures and a consistent approach to how data quality is measured, monitored and reported.Ensure Data Governance standards are incorporated at the implementation levelTo succeed in this role you will bring with you:Minimum bachelor''s degree qualification in engineering, technology or quantitative disciplineProven advanced experience with Cloud based Technologies and Databases, with GCP and Snowflake experience advantageous.
