We strive to continually improve our equipment from site feedback, and we have a strong pipeline of work that focuses on out-loading with multiple new rail loading facilities to our four ports.A unique full time, permanent opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Designer in our Engineering team within the Project Delivery Group. You will be working on a wide range of mechanical and materials handling equipment including new expansion projects and upgrading existing infrastructure.The position would suit a motivated, practical and adaptable individual who aspires to have a rewarding career and maintain work life balance.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical design and drafting.Working closely within our engineering team, key accountabilities of the role include:Design of mechanical machinery and materials handling equipment3D modelling of mechanical equipment in Autodesk Inventor softwareDevelop detailed engineering and fabrication 2D drawings using Inventor or AutoCAD softwareManagement of CBH native drawings and models through the Autodesk Vault software packageImplement design innovations that create business value, customer value and continuously aim to enhance design safety standardsAd-hoc travel to remote sites when required for equipment inspectionsWhat you will bring to the role:Experience with materials handling highly regardedDemonstrated mechanical design experience using AutoCAD inventor software or strong trade backgroundExposure to or experience on large design projectsKnowledge of drawing management and document control practicesWhy work with CBH?Work with meaning and being part of something biggerPlay a critical role in moving WAs grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world.
