Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in any of our Florida offices.To be considered for this position, applicants musthave, at minimum, a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.What youll be doing:Designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansionsManaging project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing regular communication and guidance with less experienced staffCollaborate with multidisciplinary team and external clients to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projectsMaintain a high degree of quality sets of plans along with checking the work of othersCreate work plans and adhere to the budget set by the client and perform strong project management knowledgeAttend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projectsMonitor project progress, budgets, and schedulesWhat you need to have:Bachelors of Science in Civil EngineeringValid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Florida required5 - 10 years of relevant engineering design experience and FDOT experienceRelevant municipal engineering experience including designing pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilitiesExperience performing hydraulic modeling (using programs such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, etc.)Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
