The Procurement Manager ensures best-in-class procurement practices, cost optimisation, supply continuity, risk mitigation, and value creation across all categories.Key Responsibilities:Manage and provide leadership, guidance and support to the procurement team, fostering collaborative and high-performance cultureCreate and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the company''s goals and objectives.Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels.Oversee the procurement budget, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements to optimize procurement spending and deliver value to the organization.Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to changing market conditions and business requirements.Oversee all stages of the procurement process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic support to deliver on their requirements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Adhere to the highest standards of health, safety and environmental practices for al procurement related activities, and ensuring that suppliers also adhere to these standardsDrive cross-functional collaboration for procurement initiatives and projects across the businessCollaborate with the General Manager Supply Chain to drive a procurement vision and roadmap.Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or related field preferredExperience:Suitable experience in procurement and supply chain leadership across multiple categories of spendPrevious experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structuresExperience in the hospitality or facilities management industry particularly in remote locations an advantageSkills:Strategic thinking and commercial acumenLeadership and people developmentStrong negotiation and contract management skillsResults-driven with a focus on continuous improvementProficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Demonstrated high level of self-organizational skills.Professional customer service attitude.Strong time management and organisational ability.About Us:Civeo Australia, a division of Civeo Corporation, provides workforce accommodation services globally. delegation across multiple categories;Adheres to standardised procurement methodology with strong governance;Provides procurement support to the business in the Authority for Expenditure (AFE) process;Evaluates category specific spend behaviour;Financial analysis and modelling; Designs effective financials models for tender documentation, post tender analysis, logistics costs and other cost/volume modelling as required;Adheres to individual category material change and sourcing programmes;Collates periodical supplier performance management feedback;Individual stakeholder and vendor relationship management; Visit suppliers, stakeholders and sites as required;Ensures suppliers logistics and inventory processes are aligned with the business operating model;Procure fit for purpose goods and services at the right price/value/quality/time from reputable diligent suppliers: documents process and decision making with appropriate sign-off;Assist in the development of and apply best practice systems for the supply chain including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility and KPIs;Enforce safety standards via OH&S standards;Comply with the highest standards of socially responsible procurement practices (including recycling programmes, waste reduction etc.;Undertake supply market research; competitor assessments, market and technology trends;Build high quality relationships with all internal stakeholders, andEnsure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceProfessional QualificationsTertiary qualifications in business / commerce preferredExperienceMinimum 10 years procurement experience across multiple categories of spendPrevious experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structuresExperience in the hospitality industry particularly in remote locations an advantageSkillsProficient in PowerPoint,
