This role is key to enhancing our agility and competitiveness in insurance technology.The RoleProject Planning and Execution: Lead and deliver technology projects in insurance, aligning with business goals:Delivery Oversight: Ensure projects adhere to timelines and quality standardsObstacle Removal: Address and resolve issues hindering team progress and project delivery.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Resource Management: Coordinate resources to optimise productivity and meet project milestones.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software delivery, meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements through feedback, retrospectives, and metrics.Reporting and Metrics: Track project metrics and KPIs, provide status updates, and use data for decision-makingWhat Experience Youll BringBachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in insurance or financial services.Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and transformation initiatives.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Understanding of technology delivery processes, including SDLC, DevOps, and release management.PMP, CSM, or similar certifications preferred.Our PerksLocation Toowong Close to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues..
