The role can be based in either Katherine or Darwin, NT.Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, youll provide support for staff in all aspects of the Katherine West Health Boards financial operations. The Finance Manager will ensure that all financial management and reporting functions for KWHB are carried out to a high standard.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintaining the KWHB financial management information systemAccountability for the development, implementation and monitoring of financial systems, processes and proceduresLead a team of staff to ensure processing of a high volume of creditor/debtor activities, credit card payments, bank reconciliations, travel allowances and payroll.Ensure legislative and regulatory requirements associated with staff commencement, salaries and other financial entitlements are metComply with FBT and STP Australian Taxation Office regulations and statutory requirementsPreparation of monthly financial reports and analysisCollaborate with relevant managers to lead the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditure against those budgetsUndertake end-of-year preparations and compile annual financial information and documentation for auditing.To read the full position description, please clickhere.Who Were Looking ForIf you have a growth mindset, love detail and get a kick out of balancing the books, this might be the job for you.
