This is a flexible role that can evolve with your availability, interests, and capacity.Were flexible with how and where you work and for how many hours. You can be based anywhere in Australia and work remotely, support people in the community, or (if youre in naarm/Melbourne) potentially use a dedicated workspace.Youll work with people who come to us for support - people who are neurodivergent, queer, disabled, or all of the above, helping them build skills, try new things, and feel more confident and connected in the world. We take a low-pressure, person-led approach to therapy and believe deeply in meeting people where theyre at.Some Things You Might DoComplete functional assessments in a collaborative, trauma-informed wayCo-create therapy goals with participants that reflect their values and actual livesProvide ongoing therapy, capacity building, or skill development supportDesign and recommend strategies that support sensory regulation, executive functioning, or access needsSupport people to navigate barriers in daily life - whether thats getting dressed, accessing community, or building routinesWrite clear, strengths-based reports to support NDIS funding or plan reviewsCollaborate with peer workers and support staff to ensure holistic, consistent supportWork with people over time in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and affirming for everyone, including youAbout YouWere not after perfection. Were looking for someone kind, thoughtful, and dependable - someone who does the right thing even when no ones watching, keeps people safe, and treats them with respect and warmth.Ideally, You HaveRegistration with AHPRA as an Occupational TherapistLived experience of neurodivergence and/or being LGBTQIASB+Insight into the communities we serve and the barriers we faceA communication style thats thoughtful and respectfulA driver licence and access to a reliable, insured car (most travel is local, within 30 minutes, and we reimburse for kms travelled)Some experience in disability support, community work, or a related field (a bonus, not a must)An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or youre happy to get one)The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and check in when neededExperience working in NDIS-land or with marginalised communities is a bonus.
