With a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork.The Role:You will provide high level support in a broad range of administrative areas including finance, procurement, asset management, statistical reporting, recruitment and development of complex documents.You will need:Sound knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire that knowledge, of the Tasmanian Government financial framework, associated legislation and Government accounting procedures, with the capacity to provide support, advice and make recommendations to senior management as required.Demonstrated advanced financial analysis skills with the ability to research and interpret information and to recommend appropriate action.Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide advice within the context of the political, social and organisational environment in which the department operates.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicantApplicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary:$98,255 to $103,069 per annum.
