Permanent, part time, 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)37,174 - 41,671 per annum, pro rataAbout The PostThe Centre for Culture and Heritage Manager will play a key role in the effective coordination and delivery of the Centres activities. Working in close collaboration with the Centre Director, academic colleagues, research and knowledge exchange teams, and external partners, you will ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Centre. Your core responsibilities will include managing project coordination, overseeing budgets, leading communications, and organising events that promote the Centres work. A vital aspect of the role will be building and sustaining strong partnerships with cultural and heritage organisations, funding bodies, policymakers, and the wider university communitycontributing directly to raising the Centres profile and enhancing its regional and national impact.About YouAs the Centre for Culture and Heritage Manager, you will be at the heart of the Centres operations, overseeing its day-to-day coordination and ensuring the smooth delivery of interdisciplinary research projects, public and civic engagement initiatives, and collaborative funding programmes. You will take the lead in developing and implementing efficient administrative systems and operational processes that uphold high standards of compliance, accountability, and delivery. You''ll establish and maintain effective governance structures and reporting mechanisms, monitoring progress against strategic objectives and providing regular updates to senior leadership, funding bodies, and key stakeholders. As the primary point of contact for the Centre, you will engage with academics, professional services, students, and external partners to foster an environment that is collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking. You will also support the Centres communications and visibility, including the coordination of events, public engagement activities, and digital platforms.
