In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, multi-disciplined pathology service that plays a vital part in supporting the healthcare needs of the local community. Working in a collaborative environment, you will apply your scientific and technical skills to perform a range of routine diagnostic techniques, ensuring accurate and timely results.You will also be supported to grow your professional capabilities through hands-on experience in problem-solving, analysis, and reporting of laboratory investigations. Under supervision, youll have the opportunity to be involved in the evaluation and implementation of new methods and technologies, contributing to continuous improvement in laboratory practice. This role offers a rewarding blend of technical responsibility and the chance to make a real difference in regional healthcare.About YouWere looking for a qualified and committed Medical Scientist who meets national accreditation standards and is ready to contribute to high-quality pathology services. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:Hold a degree at AQF Level 7 with at least 70% of subjects relevant to pathologyOR possess an equivalent overseas qualification recognised by AIMSOR hold an associate qualification from the Australian Institute of Medical Technologists (pre-1 Dec 1973)Be recognised as competent and authorised under NPAAC guidelines to perform clinical pathology functionsAbout usStatewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
